Christopher Day You think the only thing we have given Ukraine are “weapons to help with their defense capabilities”? What about their offensive capabilities?

“The money that’s going to Ukraine comes from our defense budget. It’s not even money”. Wrong again. The U.S. has provided relief monetarily to the Ukrainian people, covering military assistance, refugee resettlement, macroeconomic support, humanitarian assistance, paying salaries for civil servants such as educators, healthcare workers, first responders, and the list goes on… I assure you it’s real money, mine and your tax dollars to be exact. Research the Lend Lease Program, and USAID.

Listen son, I could keep going on about this, but my schedule is busy. I retired from the U.S. Government, what do I know? Like I said, educate yourself.

Rick Shellhammer failure has to have a cause. For many issues of infrastructure, the blame is everyone else who should be responsible. There is absolutely zero reasons to redirect or take money from other functions of government to shift over to another. Look at the city of Jackson, Mississippi. Racism is the cover and justification for taking Waterworks money to pay for something else. In turn Maintenance, replacement components for the water infrastructure was not on hand, or obtainable. People like to define and call other countries corrupt, and the attributes of corruption is failure. Roadway maintenance involves inspections and repairs of hazardous faults in the infrastructure. There is no money? Then you look at things, and you question the since of priority.
