Jerry Cornpop Harvard the union has given me 100% free amazing healthcare and if I had a family they would be included which union dues are low compared to insurance cost.My dental procedures would have been $5600 and I paid $386.Look at UPS driver pay vs Amazon and fed Ex .The warehouse pt employees need more money ,they are the future Drivers and are putting in their time
but live in poverty while waiting to become a driver. You almost definitely need a second job. They pretty much only hire drivers from within. Its a good company that needs some adjustments in a few spots. Fourth year drivers are at $100k+ , those breaking their back in the warehouse waiting to become a driver are lucky to make $300wk but still get free insurance. The warehouse is something like 70% of their workforce

Stephen Blake Wages are not behind, just people have too many toys now that they didnt use to have, Internet service, satellite tv, two or more vehicles, most of them brand new vehicles, new house, boats, ATV, more insurance on all these things, credit cards, camper, vacations, Wages have always been lower in North Florida compared to South florida, but also prices are cheaper here, many places land still goes for 5-7 thousand a acre, cost of living is way lower, reason we have so many people moving here from northern states, they can retire and sell their small city apartment for half a million, and move down here and buy 20 acres and a mansion

The biggest problem is the warehouse. Its pt workers are lucky to make ,$300 a week. Most people in there are waiting to become drivers which don't happen fast. There is 100% free healthcare with zero premiums taken out of checks for it for workers and their whole familiesPt workers even get it.The insurance is amazing. They mostly hire drivers from within and it goes by seniority. So many pt workers have food stamps and must get second jobs to get by while they wait for their chance.$20 an hour is very reasonable to ask for or heck even more chances for hours.Other warehouses do pay more but those that stay at UPS look at the long haul. The people in the warehouse which I believe is 70% but I might be wrong are the future of the company.Yes fourth year drivers do make $100k but they never mention people struggling to get to that point.Working there has great potential if you look at the long run.Waiting is beyond a struggle.I wish the trucks would get a Ac. And some adjustments for the drivers as believe me most drivers you see now delivering packages struggled to get there. Its not an easy process for most. They earned it
